Fairly ripe and broad, lacks some acidity, but overall has pleasant flavors. However, there was kind of a metallic tone to the finish that turned me off.

Drinking nicely at the moment, my bottle seemingly at peak performance. Nice strawberry, tart cherry, and mineral notes. My last bottle, but if I had more, I wouldn't cellar them any longer than I wants to drink them.

Nice CdP for the price (BevMo's 5 cent sale, so about $15 per bottle). The stink blew off quickly to reveal strawberry, raspberry, plum, black cherry, a little earthiness, and slight minerality, with a touch of brett to keep things funky. The tannins were in a good spot, very fine grained, sliding across the tongue. There's enough structure to age this for a few years, but honestly, I'd be perfectly happy just drinking the rest of mine now.

Retreat; 6/6/2014-6/8/2014 (Anvil Vineyard and Ranch): Spicy, cherry, very slightly gamey; palate is medium bodied, good integrated structure throughout, decent red fruit; medium finish. Nice overall. 87
