For a wine that retails for $3.99, this is surprisingly good. Nice clear, lemon color, very faint nose. Lots of citrus flavors, good acidity, short finish. A bit sweeter than most Pinot Grigios, but certainly a value in this price range. To tell the truth, I've never had a really bad bottle of Pinot Grigio; this varietal always seems to be reliable when a generic white is needed, but never reaches the heights of greatness, either. The inexpensive offerings are nearly as good as the premium brands.

Burst of fruity fragrance initially; bitter acidity taste.
