Rich. Started off with glycerin in the nose. Petroleum blew off. Well integrated oak but very heavy bodied. Definitely needs food. A heavy oil fish like salmon or pork or veal.

Consistent with our previous note from 2016, but showing a bit less oak, a bit more tropical fruit, and a very slight oxidative note - all of which adds to the appeal. But if you haven't checked in, now is probably the time.

Straw. Compared to the Aubert this was more dense with fruit and had a more butter and oak treatment. Was opened via Coravin a few months ago and may have been affected some.

Bright, tropical fruit, most oak of the Chards tonight. Starting to develop some secondary golden aged chard notes
