Very much declining. Drink now.

Definiitely more lively and alive than last bottle. But probably not at its peak anymore. Still extremely enjoyable.
Not nearly as luscious as the previous couple of bottles. No sign of it being over the hill, but just seemed closed.
Another outstanding bottle of Ferrando's core nebbiolo. My previous notes apply here as well.
A lost Friday afternoon gathering – 06 CDC, 02 Cristal, 08 DP, Aubert, 99 Lambreys and etc. (Clarity - Vienna, Virginia): Beautifully mature nose displaying warm sweet red fruit, cherry, strawberry, cinnamon, cedar, rose and earth. Fully integrated palate, shy sweet red fruit, warm and round, soft tannins and a medium to long warm red fruit driven finish with cedar and anise at the end. Drinking well.
