  • Who was Right, S#ckers? Wuhan Restrictions Ending in Great Britain; 5/5/2022-5/7/2022 (Londres - GB): All story resumed in one picture. When you opened an expensive BYO bottle sometime before, dear Turinese hunchback, without any order to do so, breaks the cork and some pieces fall into the bottle so it must be filtered (initially served like this, with trips), at first cup by cup and then in a decanter something doesn't work properly. Extremely cooled, ruining an exceptional wine without the slightest sign of premature oxidation. Still, the class is so patent that it survives with buttery notes of lemon candied bark and limestone. That mineral contribution has its immediate echo in the mouth, where it shows long and tasty, with depth and a balanced acidity (after heating) that ends elegantly and widely. A pity how you can spoil an excellent bottle. To the last drop without leaving my traditional last third for the staff. A service fiasco that has affected to the bottle. By the way, the exponential increase of Italian wines on the wine list is a reflection of her particular tastes and it is another mistake from my point of view.

  • This was sadly over the hump for my taste.

  • This was fantastic. Checks all the boxes With tertiary flavors. Takes a little bit in the glass to open but wow when it does!

  • From Magnum. Prefer this wine now over a few years ago. Perfectly balanced and framed in light and elegant oak, the yellow fruits stand out and finish long.

  • Went out of my way to procure this bottle and share it with a wine buddy whose previous bottle had crapped out in an earlier tasting. Medium gold mature color; quite citric qualities still, very classy; wet slate and crisp apples; super balance, overall quality and great persistence.
