Leaked through cork. No sign of flaws. Honey and apricot on the nose. Same fruits on the palate. Does not really show the concentration of a good auslese and could use a little more acidity. But still a nice wine for the price.

Waxy-oily, chalky-mineral, citrus. Subtle, silky, medium concentration. Medium tart acidity. Chalky white spice. Sweet green herbs. Grippy chalky finish.

Cork was soaked through - signs of seepage. Not much on the nose. Candied apples on the palate. True to the vintage - lacking a bit of acidity.

This is outstanding for $20. Heck, it would be very good QPR at $30.
