Golden color. Nose: pineapple, mixed melon, lemon meringue, and apricot with accents of vanilla wafer, nutmeg, honeysuckle, sourdough, and beeswax. Full body on the palate: lemon curd, apricot, pineapple souffle, and pear framed by sourdough, vanilla wafer, nutmeg, beeswax, river stone, and honeysuckle. Medium acidity. Lingering nutmeg, vanilla wafer, beeswax, river stone, and sourdough on the long, luxurious finish. Full-throttle new-world Marsanne. Tremendous richness and length. Great complexity on the finish. No subtlety at work here, but plenty of wow. Drink now.

The structure and balance of this wine is fine. But the flavor is not my cup of tea. It is an interesting grape, difficult to pin down the primary flavor, and there is a somewhat candy-coated veneer to the whole thing. Not a bad wine at all, it might pair nicely with certain food (?). But for my part I won't purchase again.

color: clear, fairly light straw color nose: tropical and oaky taste: big flavors, apricot, pineapple, melon, big oak present throughout, finishes long with toasted notes other: 100% marsanne, though I wonder how much you can taste past the oak
