Boxed In at Craig's (DRC, Leroy, Dugat-Py, Rousseau, Dujac, Kistler, d'Yquem and others): Very pale yellow in color. The nose gives an enticing blend of pear and lemon with floral notes. Expressive but not very intense. This is very light in the mouth, but packs a pretty good punch. The flavors take on a honeyed/carmel tone and lively acidity gives this a crisp and refreshing character. Paired pretty well with the excellent salad.

More and more tropical notes-- A little bit better in the last 6 months but not anything revolutionary.

On the nose citrus, butter and some slight tropical nose. Citrus and pear on the palate with good acidity. A good but not great chablis.

Tasting Group Dinner (Craig's House): Light color. Straightforward and fresh, showing moderately concentrated flavors of pear and honey. Good acidity.
