Crystal clear color and complexion. Intensely aromatic nose of lychee and indian spices. Classic Gewurztraminer nose. Medium bodied, Medium acidity, spice and a light bitter character prevails on the palate. Finishes a little alcoholic on the finish, which is a little surprising given the 13,3% printed alcohol. Overall, a very good California Gewurztraminer. Lacks the richness that one would find in an Alsatian bottling, but still a great effort nonethless for a California Gewurztraminer.
