What a shame Puffeney doesn’t make wine anymore. This is light red in color and opens up with a funky, farmyard nose, the real stuff. Crunchy cherry and cranberry fruit on the palate, marks of orange peel and soil, very good acidity. Light, but expressive, serious wine. Great, singular wine. Would love to have cases of this in my cellar.

Really enjoyed this bottle and seemed younger than one I opened a few weeks ago. Beautiful and elegant tart red fruits, minerals, earth, tea, and herbs.

Pretty good wine here. This is a varietal that I am trying for the first time. It is savory and definitely my style of wine. I tasted hints of watermelon and spring water with a little celery. The nose is very refreshing. This was a nice wine I would drink again.

Two hour decant, dark, translucent ruby in the glass, the nose in an interesting blend of raspberry, light cherry, watermelon and herbs. The palate is framed in light, dusty tannins and tart acidity with continued notes of raspberry and herbs. A medium bodied wine with a medium mouthfeel and finish, this pairs well with pizza. Nice expression of trousseau.

Elegant wildness through aromas of raspberry, herbal notes, spring forest floor on the nose. The palate shows the same lightness of touch but with persistency of flavours and textured, sweet red-current fruit. The wine is still full of freshness with good acidity and spicy character with nutmeg and more herbs. Need at least 2 hours decanting to reveal all its charms... Drink now and over the next three years (well kept).
