Fabulous body on the wine. Deep color. Nicely integrated nose with dark fruit and a hint of leather. Easy in the mouth with good flavors of dark berries and some earth with a hint of graphite. Long, enjoyable finish with hints of vanilla.

Deep purple color--uncharacteristic of a Cabernet Franc--very deep and dark--sultry and inviting. A clean nose with deep cherries. A full and complex body with nice tannins and aa bit of acidity. I got a hint of apple cider with cedar, graphite, oak, and cherries.

This is an excellent offering from Virginia. It has warm aromas of cedar, violets and red fruits in the glass with a nice, rich color. The wine is full bodied and has smooth, well-integrated tannins. The flavors of cherries, oak, violets, and hints of tobacco merge to embody the characteristics of the Cabernet franc grape. Well worth the $30 price tag. Highly recommended.
