  • Bright red cherries and plum with a hint of oak. Aromas of lavender and roses. Pleasing at first but lost its way after being open for a bit.

  • This tastes like alcoholic cola. Purple in color, clear. Sweet, smoky nose. Moderate acidity and medium tannin. Very sweet, lots of smoky oak, greenness, bitter. Long finish. Did not like.

  • This wine was nice and fruity with a decent finish. I enjoyed with filet mignon and tri tip from Banderas in CDM.

  • nose: showing off more dark tones with notes of dark red fruits, cherries, raspberries and some cherry cola

taste: medium bodied with medium acidity. A nice feel, but lacking some depth along with tones of raspberries, cherries, and cola

overall: a solid, if unspectacular pinot. Balanced with a more dark take to the tones, but with a tart and forward quality as well

  • Nose: From first take this wine holds onto it's youth with a tight nose but soon enough opens up slowly to show off layers of complexity including red cherry, raspberry, anise and black-fruit tea on the tip. This wine was just aching to show more in the glass if time had permitted.
Palate: Nice fig and melange of spice.
Finish: Warmth certainly from it's youth and 14.3% alcohol, will blow off with age.
Notes: Fruit for this wine comes from Sun Chase and Gap's Crown Vineyards on the Sonoma Coast. Still young as discussed above but will be very interesting with 8 months to 2 years of age, will expect the time to result in all the makings of a lovely Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. BM
