Bottle bought from the winery shop in Montepulciano. Nose was restrained. Moderate acid after PnP, which quickly improved after half an hour of air. Dark restrained red fruit showed on the mid palate, and finish was short. Nothing special for me. After tasting many Tuscany-origin Sangioveses, I have decided that the Vino Nobile's and Brunellos are not for me. I do appreciate however the Italian Sangiovese clone Morellino di Scansano, which tends to have fuller fruit profile and less acidity. It doesn't hurt that they are also generally more inexpensive compared to their Tuscany counterparts.
