A huge nose of dark fruits and spice, dark black purple in color. A huge, full bodied PS, not for the faint of heart or Old World fans. With blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries that finishes with a dark spicy chocolate and despite it’s big 15.5% alcohol level maintains the heat due to the bold fruit levels. Decant for a couple hours or hold for a few years. www.winelx.com

Deep violet, inky, great legs. Complex nose; French toast, blackberry, muted, yet hot cedar is lying in wait. Initial taste is French vanilla ice cream topped with fresh blueberries. Oak integration is successful. Prickly, scintillating tannins. Burning pinyon pine on the end. Medium finish.

This is a big bold and heavy Petit Sirah. It is deep dark Blue-Plum with a really mixed fruit nose. The first taste is all about lots of fruit with a touch of PS bite, but it quickly mellows. This is a nice wine made from good quality grapes and the taste shows it. Finish shows a bit tart and long fruit with oak and tannin showing. I think this wine will continue to develop for several years. Its drinking well now but in 5 years it could be in a different game

Tasted double blind. Nose of bacon fat, dark fruit and cinnamon. Complex palate with meat and dark fruit. Long finish and fresh for a bigger wine. Was surprised to see I rated this wine so high and will have to try one non-blind.
