Just over two years since my last note and 1 point lower at 90. Perhaps a slightly less good bottle. Good drinking here for a while yet but less definition than the last bottle.

Deeply colored; somewhat reticent nose of deep, cool red and blue fruit and violets. The fruit deepens and lingers with subtle acidity carrying from mid-palate through a very fresh and lingering finish. 91+

One of an interesting range of Pinot Noir drunk over 10 days on a holiday in the Sccottish Highlands - others were 2012 Ribbon Ridge, from Omero in Oregon, 2012 Talley Vineyards, Arroyo Grand Valley, and 2013 Carrick Pinot from Otago, South Island.
All three 'New World'Pinots genuinely very good (see separate notes) and generally my preference at this type of price point. However this is a reminder of the delight of well made, slighly traditional Red Burgundy from a traditional producer in a good vintage. Delicious, ready, but no rush.

Dark red colour. Delicate flavoured. Light taste of strawberry and spice. Good length. Small astringent at the end. Still young for its age. Very good. Robe rouge brique assez foncée. Arôme délicat. Léger goût de fraise, un peu compotée mais pas envahissante. Légèrement épicée. Belle longueur. Un peu d'astringençe sur la fin. Encore vigoureux pour son âge. Vraiment très bon.
