  • Light yellow, still with greenish hues, clear.
On the nose some reduction at first and the impression of a young wine. A touch f citrus fruit, yogurt, white melon, a green touch. Nice balance between a certain body and the lively acidity. A mineral spine runs through the wine which also has a lemony note. It finishes with a play between a saline and a lemon sorbet note. Not particularly long. High quality wine which is not yet at peak.

  • Mid yellow. Distinct yellow apple and orchard fruit with a mineral flint element on the first nose - then puff pastry, white peach, hints of butter, tart tatin, lemon cream and sea spray. The palate adds a fabulous rapier-like line of acidity that threads its way through what is a fleshy mid-palate. There is real depth to the mid-palate, an outstanding balance of vibrant ripe fruits against the incisive acidity and the finish chases minerals and more saline moments. I think it may repay even further cellaring. Smart wine from a top vintage.

  • Great news, this wine is incredible from a half bottle, so full bottles will only get better soon! My wife guessed it was Montrachet blind. Citrus and tropical fruits with great depth and a long finish, the wine is disappearing fast making me wish it was a full bottle. More impressive than the 2007 Corton Charlemagne I had a couple years back.

  • Way more open than last time, this shows lemon cream and fine minerals in an impeccably balanced package. Superb.

  • Very pale yellow. Intoxicating aromas of lime, white flowers, sea spray and a healthy dose of reduction that took the better part of an hour to dissipate. On the nose alone, this could easily be mistaken for Chablis. Medium-bodied, dominated by white fruit, minerals and a rapier-like acidity that cuts a broad swath across the palate. Finishes quite long, with a strong sensation of liquid stone that gradually fades away. An excellent white Burgundy, if a bit embryonic at this stage. 93.
