served with homemade ham hock soup as an appy. Amber coloring and a touch of gold in the glass; this is a nice bottle to be drinking up this year. A bit of acid remains on the palate, but not too strongly; it was very good with the soup and cut thru the rich broth and squash it contained. One nice purchase at $22 a few years back.

Oily and viscous with a lemony flavor, this was a nice wine to pair with nicoise salad tonight. Good acidity and fresh, it went down easily and merits buying a few more bottles in subsequent vintages

Ready to drink. Very pleasant. Slightly oak dominated, but nice crisp finish. Nice with the halibut this eve.
