Wow, this is delicious enough to temper some of Greenblanket's rain man like devotion to Marc Ollivier's wines. A complex nose of citrus, mineral and sea air is followed by a deep, full palate with excellent definition and cut. The deal is sealed by a compelling green herbal/citrus tang as it finishes - almost like Vietnamese coriander. This teletubby is diving back in for sure.

Summertime Weekend; 6/2/2012-6/3/2012: Again, a delicious Muscadet with lots of creaminess and minerality. Great with summer salands and appetizers, and delicious on a sunny Summer afternoon.

5/31/2012 What a bargain! Complex aromas of lemon, orange blossoms, a touch of grapefruit, sea air, spice and lots of minerals. Same flavors, along with a little orange peel. Viscous and buttery in the mouth. Great acid. A long citrus-like finish. An excellent pairing with scallops, and then with Brick cheese. 24 hours later, after vacu-vin: still a vibrant wine, but has lost some of the orange nuances of when initially tasted

Mostly Aussies (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.): I just love this vintage and this producer. This wine spends extended time on the less, giving it an aroma of buttercream. There's also this lovely mineral and lemon aroma. The palate is pure, bright and full of intense minerals. The focus is superb. The nervy edge of the acid and minerals combines with the creaminess from the sur lie aging to provide a full experience. The finish shows a lot of acid, leaving you salivating. Absolutely delicious, and I'd love to drink this with scallops.

Crisp and clean. Love it. There is lemon, there is minerality and there is sea water. It was perfect with my shrimp salad. Wow, really good.
