  The color wasn't what I was expecting for a PN (very dark maroon instead of iridescent ruby). Strange nose of dark fruit, tomato (unmistakeable), oak, alcohol. The wine is well made but not my thing. Heavy on some jammy raspberry, oak and alcohol prominent even on the second day. Within the first hours of opening, there were quiet traces of classic burgundian flavors but they were masked by the previously mentioned flavors and gone by day 2.
