Red fruit, slightly tart, quite minerally and austere. Good, but lacks the power, richness and depth I expect for a grand cru Gevrey from a decent year. Maybe it will get better with more time.

Hazy garnet-dark ruby in color. Takes a good 3+h to show aromas of dark berries and plums, violets, spice & earth. A medium-bodied and silky palate shows savory and sweet-sour dark cherries, plum sauce, meat drippings, minerals, good acidity, fine tannins and a spice & bitter cherry pit finish.

Surprised how young the wine feels. Delicious, dynamic and exciting flow, with good length and clear spiced cherry. Very good value for money. The only downside is lack of psychedelic high. Thus, 92.

This was a great bottle; initially seemed a little reserved and had a slather of oak, but I think that was simply the wine being too cold out of the cellar; after it warmed up a bit and got some air it absolutely took flight; pure and airy red berry fruits with floral and spice notes immediately following; definitely mineral and stony, with hints of game and forest floor. This really still feels fairly young (cork did have a good seal) and has quite a bit of life left. Wish I had another bottle or two.

really a terrific showing for this wine. just beginning to take on some tertiary notes. great burgundy funk. lovely balance... maybe a hair hollow in the mid-palate. good length. definitely had a bit of the animal. i do not get any excessive oak, but perhaps time has integrated it nicely. good drink.

(Trapet Latricieres-Chambertin) Closed on the nose but had a brilliant palate. Complex red fruits and big minerality. Great structure but seemed to be closing down. Long finish and lots of sap. Will be greater
