Fine Vines Warehouse Tasting (Fine Vines - Melrose Park IL): Walk around tasting, brief note. My favorite of the three in the vertical. Good weight, nuanced spice on finish. good to enjoy now. 88-89 points, but drink up in the next year or two.

The tasting note by gutt22 gets it right - lovely texture of not heavy but intense fruit, some apricot and lots of minerality. Some ominous signs of POX at the first pour, but fortunately that faded with time in the glass. A very good wine for village level.

Light to medium yellow color. Pretty nose of stony apple and minerals. A bit of oak in the background. In the mouth, lean and somewhat racy, with a simultaneously voluptuous mouth feel. Good acidity and a stony quality on the finish that's very pleasant. A-

Bourgogne Wine Alliance, Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Hospices de Beaune - Beaune France): Tasting, brief note. Fascinating in the 13/10/08 vertical, which shows this as a wine that evolves from something bright and fun into something more concentrated and thoughtful. I liked the freshness of youth, so was least enamored with this vintage tonight.
