  • disappointingly anonymous. not bad but just not a whole lot to make it stand out. good acidity, though a little out of balance. rich mouthfeel and on the nose but overpriced for what this is.

  • Dark straw color with a huge nose of cat urine, oak, hazelnuts and smoke. The apple and melon fruit is subdued under the massive oak influence, and this is obviously a wine for the cellar. On the palate it is loaded with smoky oak and melon, with a very long finish. Well made, and tasted much better on the second day.
A wine for 5-10 years from now.

  • a bit disjointed - lemons and citrus on the left side of my mouth and creamy butter on the right. has the right combo of elements, just needs time to come together. very nice. day 2 - everything came together beautifully. improved greatly overnight. ****
