Crisp nose of apple and pear. Fresh and with a slight pine aroma. Loads of oak up front. Green apple tart. Crisp and zesty but the oak is very heavy handed and out of balance. Perhaps they need to ML it to smooth out the oak, but for me, it tasted like green apple flavored wood staves.

- Yellow color - Some sweet tropical fruit with decent acid backbone and moderate oak. We were surprised and pleased with how well it paired with tangy pulled pork sandwiches.

Nice toasty oak, with apple and citrus notes.

Good acidity, crisp green apple, soft oak, but a bit of herbal character that throws it off.
