Pop and pour. I am not sure that a decant would have made a big difference given the last glad was not to disimilar from the first. A lot of rhubarb on the nose. Maybe a little off on the nose given the abundance of fruit and lack of wood. Interesting wine but did not wow me.

One of those wake up in the morning and talk about how delicious that wine was last night wines. Must try for Grenache lovers. Little high in alcohol and can taste it at first (15%), recommend a 30 min. decant. Great acidity with earthy flavors finishing with soft cherry and coco flavors.

The Rhone Rangers (City Winery, 155 Varick Street, New York, NY 10013): The nose showed rich red fruits, tart cranberry and spice. It was rich and concentrated on the palate with red and black fruits and dark chocolate. The finish was long with berry fruit, spice and gripping tannin. This was made in more of a full-throttle style than I usually prefer, but it was highly enjoyable.

Same as previous note. Not that impressed, but wanted to like it so bad.
