  Dark violet, nearly pitch black at the core. The nose shows some brooding dark fruit along with some fig and cured meaty aromas. Full bodied, but somewhat nimble. Fig/date qualities with a hint of raisin, layered with blackberry flavors. Some oaky spiciness adds a dimension as well. Not much structure to go with the dark fruit, but a nice wine with some burgers. Decent, blackberry finish.
