  • Clear gold in the glass. Big bosomy nose of oranges and eucalyptus leaps from the bottle on opening and lingers in the glass. Medium light body, palate-whetting acidity with fresh orange rind and unsweetened candy corn. Finishes rather quickly. No need to hold on to this as it's not intended for that (though it's got the structure to go to 2017 if properly cared for), but it's at a good place now and has something for everybody straddling that line between "food wine" and "sipping wine." The "house white" for the wine nerd, perhaps?
