This is a drink-now wine because it's so delicious!

Open for 45 mintues before first taste; Dark ruby in color and slightly cloudy; Really expressive nose of ripe dark fruits, tartness, wet stone, white pepper and flowers; Fresh and tart cranberry, cherry, light pepper on the palate; Great mouth-watering acid and silky tannins; Medium-plus finish
Wow, this wine is stunning. Such a great expression of the terroir from William. Neutral oak really allows the freshness of the grape to take center-stage. Too difficult to sit on remaining bottles to see what they may do over the course of several years. For me, this is definitely one to drink and really enjoy right now.

Winery Profile & Review: Two Shepherds: SRP: $30. Case Production: 50 cases. Fermented & aged for 10 months neutral oak. Blended from 50% Syrah and 50% Mourvèdre. The nose is stunning, offering a laundry list of what one would expect from the best Southern Rhones. Black cherries, blackberries, black tea, and white pepper dominate – with a floral, lavender lift and beam of slate minerality playing a supporting role. While the wine might not have the stuffing needed for long-term cellaring, I’d love to find out. It’s a stunning wine.
