This bottle showed extremely well, perhaps the best of the last 3-4 bottles of this wine that I have opened. Red cherry fruit up front along with a bit of plum that still has a youthful brightness about it. The fruit is tempered and balanced by a smoothness and richness through the middle. It then moves more to the blackfruit end of the spectrum and adds the expected earthy, stony quality on the finish. Good acidity based backbone and very nice structure and length on the finish. For an inexpensive pinot noir, this delivered very nice fruit, good structure and excellent balance. As this wine is under screwcap, I don’t see any signs that it might start to fade in the near term.

This wine continues to improve. After being open about 90 minutes it deepened considerably and showed excellent integration and balance. Retains the fruit through the middle and the acidity on the finish, but has picked up additional smoothness, richness, integration and balance. Quite impressed with how this has developed. Maintains the classic Oregon fruit/acidity balance while developing additional richness through the middle. Very glad I have more.

Medium body, some sediment. A good Pinot Noir but not great. It was ready to drink!

Very attractive; cheries and barnyard nose, soft acids with a hint of bitterness on a soft finish
