Punchy, cherry nose balanced against some earthy notes and mud smells, wet grass and funk. Best of a small group of pinots I picked up visiting family in southern Kentucky.

Reminiscent of the low-cost, volume (okay, they were jug wines) zinfandels that most Italian families on the west side of Buffalo, NY served with lasagna and spaghetti and braccioli at family meals and get-togethers. Even the bambini (and I was one of them sixty years ago) got a small glassful, and loved it. Not a badly flavored wine with sweet figs on the palate, a soft mouth feel, and no bitter tannins (at all). I just prefer a drier wine at this age.

Good Pinot but still too young to drink. Needs a few more years to be at it's prime.

Having this on tap by the glass. Not the typical berry strong Pinot. More silky smooth... Plum and a touch of anise. Very nice.

We drank this as part of a pinot sampling along with SeaGlass and Simple Life; they rated 3/2/1 respectively(Don & Sons was #3)
