On the nose: crisp cox apples , yeast, string yeast, almonds Quite full texture, almonds, lots of nutty character, long yeasty finish, This is excellent. Nearly at Tio Pepe standard I’d say. Maybe a bit less tang. Need to try the two head to head

Tesco Wine Fair (Bristol): Slightly oxidised (which is a worry for a fino) and there is a little sweetness here as well. Nah.

A typically pale, lemon shade. Walnut nose, the palate is savoury, saline, rounded and very pleasant although the finish is little short.

Typical and decent. Yeasty and rounded. A little lacking in intensity.
