Burgundy Dinner with Friends (The Bristol - Chicago IL): My first time tasting this vintage. Opened and decanted a couple of hours before serving. Enticing aromas but backward on palate before decanted. Air was this wine's friend tonight, coaxing out so much red cherry and berry with a bit of cherry jam in the mix. Structure slowly took a step backward from the front to the rear of the stage, as more and more intense fruit and spice cam forward. Great now with upside.
