  • Prime drinking. The 2008s from this producer are really singing right now. Still with just a little bit of youthful crunch.

  • This has grown on me when drunk over a couple of days. At first I thought this was too much dominated by acidity, but I came to appreciate the crunchy fruit. There’s sufficient body and tannins are sufficiently smooth. This is not the best of vintages of this wine, but the fruity freshness wirks very well with food. Overall it showed much better than a couple of years ago.

  • Luminous garnet red with slightly brick rim. An intense nose of high toned red fruit, sous-bois, some floral notes and maybe a whiff of wet fur; not as seductive as usually. In the mouth vivid acidity and still firm tannins. Medium to short length. Overall, I find this unusually rustic, which is probably due to the vintage.

  • Nice dirty floral notes on the nose, cranberry, deep ruby red with a hint of brown but nice transparency. Juicy juicy juicy, zingy tart cherry, a bit of pucker on the finish. This is young, will benefit from aging. Really enjoyable now, but in for better later.
