Tasted in Rex Hill tasting room. Bricked edges. Cherry, soil, tobacco, barnyard, and tomato on the nose. Palate with soft tannins, earth, menthol, with a complexity and richness. Just lovely.

Black cherry up front with some boysenberry. Pretty straightforward and well balanced, perhaps a little excess booze. Subtle oak to finish. Smooth for sure but could have more going on. Kelsey says 88 too.
