Red, but with definite orange and brown tinting. Nose of oak, dirty strawberry, and baking spices. Medium bodied, with cranberries, tart cherries and a lot of pepper/spices. Well integrated tannins and good acid make this very food friendly. Short to medium finish with more than a little pucker power. The added CS makes a very positive contribution here.

A very straight forward, easy to drink, fruit driven Sangiovese. The nose is solid, with the body and finish following through very nicely. Finish is medium in length. Acidity is not too high. Pairs nicely with tomato-based foods.

Little tarter and more bite than 2006. Still very good. Tastes like a sangiovese
