Had this with Beer can Chicken, served at cellar temp (slight chill). Lovely bell pepper and stewed fruit. Had a nice bit of spiciness (a bit surprising) that worked very well with the rub on the chicken. It's certainly coming along nicely.

Quick taste here, need to serve 30-60 mins out of fridge. Simple and uncomplicated fruit as per prior notes. The acid/tannin factor is settledd down now for sure. Comes off as fairly simple BJ, and that is about it. Drinks easy on its own, or with light food. Would be nice summer wine served a tad cool. Not a good match for winter, or with the hearty food fare.

Decent example of a Beaujoulais. Needs to breath for 30-60 mins to take the initial edge off of the sharper acid/sour fruit quality. It does soften a touch, and leaves a little sour, but bright and fresh cherry/berry fruit quality with a little acid and very subtle tannin, if that.
I like this, price is a little steep perhaps, but nothing special and i could find the same experience from BJ's at my own local provincial store. Score reflects my own experience with BJ's.

Fruity scent. A bit harsh at first but softened after it breathed a bit. May need more time. Cork was damaged so may be a bad bottle. Will updated when I open the next.

Fruity and smooth. Pared excellent with onion soup.
