  Tasted in conjunction with '09 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. This is much lighter in color, translucent throughout. Light green herbs dominate the nose with some cherry fruit. Seems to have a touch more body, but there's massively palate-shredding oak tannin. The oak comes across as being lower toast, but very fresh. Too much oak heaped on fruit that's not substantial enough to carry it, comes across kind of thin and drying. Drink quickly with food and don't expect too much.
