Just plain delicious OR WV Pinot Noir. This seemed like slightly amped-up Dundee Hills with its hallmark red fruit and tart cherry, dialed down a notch by time in bottle to a beautiful spot for my palate, at least for the mood I was in then.
Felt like it had room to go before fading/declining, so I'll likely drink my next bottle in 2023-- unless I can't wait.

4th Saturday Group (M/M thelostverse): Double blind. Notes of cinnamon and dark pinot fruit. With air this shows a nice herbal quaity- perhaps even garrigue. Guessed Chateauneuf-du-Pape.

Added to the tasting to even out the flights. Pop and pour, but quite lovely with notes of cherry and dark fruits, with a nice hint of earthiness. Sadly, my last bottle.

91-92, based on the enjoyably delicious lightly tart cherry flavors and enjoyable complexity. Should last into 2019+ with ease given that it was slightly better on day 2 than day 1. 13.1% ABV was pleasantly not noticeable. (By comparison, the 2014 rendition of this wine is listed at 14.4%.)

Opened by TLV during dinner. Notes of cherry and dark berry fruit with a terrific earthy undertone. Cherry and red fruit on the palate with a lengthy finish. Nicely balanced; drinkable now with a brief decant though should last quite a while longer. Drink now-2023.
