  Cradle of Wine Civilization (SF Wine School): Medium ruby. Savory dark cherry with slight sandalwood and a BBQ brisket character (slight pepper and vinegar are part of this).
  Medium bodied, with elevated acid and elevated tannins. Nice length. Oak is a bit more overt on the palate but it’s working for me - savory.
  Score: Around 9.

  My experience and knowledge of Turkish wines is very limited. However, during our recent trip to Istanbul this wine was recommended to us at a wine bar/restaurant. We were totally amazed by the quality and elegancy of this wine made from a local grape variety Bogazkere. On day 1 the wine was showing very nicely already but it just improved on day 2.
  It seems that great Turkish wines like this are mostly consumed domestically and are regrettably not widely available internationally.
  This trip was very wine educational for us and totally changed our views of Turkish wines!

  Yakut renkli bu şarapta öndeki tatlı vanilya,hindistan cevizi gibi baskın fıçı aromalarına,silikte olsa oksidasyon tonları eşlik ediyor.Altında kiraz ve ahududu,zorlukla alınıyor.İzlendikçe hafif deri de çıkıyor. Yumuşak orta gövde ve asitli,entegre tanenli.Konsantrasyonu fena olmasada,şarabın dokusuna olumsuz katkıda bulunan fıçı ,kurulukla gelen kısa-orta bitimide domine ediyor.
