Plummy and cherry, both in the nose and mouth. Not a lot of body, but a near-total lack of tannins makes up for that. The best merlot ever? Far from it. But for $7, not bad at all.

Ruby color, medium body. Plum, cherry, chocolate, soft and juicy. No cheap or fake flavor, a decent merlot.

A bargain for $7. Very good California Merlot. Black fruit, mellow tannins, long finish.

Too much alcohol taste. Needs to breath for a long time. Total Wine promoted it as one of their best selling Merlot, but the wine is really mediocre.
