From memory. Dark black. Nose of black fruit, earth and secondary Spice. On the palate rich blackberry and spice. Savory. Good structure and balance. In a nice drinking window right now.

Not quite as dynamic as the last bottle. Fine cork, but just a hair less effusive. Dark, dark ruby robe with bricking on the rim. Game, black olive, plummy fruit, blood orange rind, and a bit off cassis on the nose. The palate is dense and tends more toward garrigue, anise, meat, and black fruit with a warm stony note bringing up the rear. Everything structure-wise is there, just a touch less exuberant than the last bottle consumed in August, I believe. Very good with magret of duck with miso and cider-glazed turnips and ennobling a piece of Mimoulette.

Fully mature but not in a rush.
2 hours in a decanter and the wine evolved all night.
Fantastic and the best bottle I have had since release.
