  • A properly stored bottle that shows Chablis at this level can age well. I wouldn't hold it any longer but quite enjoyable this evening with typical muted fruit flavors such as apple.Golden color. Grade of.B/B+

  • My first experience with white wine with this much age. Lovely pale gold in the glass.

First impression is lemon and then of apples stewed in butter. Oak is perfectly incorporated, giving richness to the mouthfeel that overly lean Chablis sometimes lacks. The wine is almost viscous and lingers nicely on the palate, evolving into a muted pear d’anjou and something reminiscent of iron at the end?

  • Don't let the subtle nose fool you. This one packs a punch on the palate with a long dry finish. Very good wine at any price point. Awesome wine at this QPR.

  • Very nice mature Chablis - fruit has leaned out quite a bit but enjoyable. Maybe a few years left..

  • Took this bottle to a beach trip with the wife and our 2 1/2 year old. Grabbed this from my collection as one of three 2010 premier cru Chablis that I purchased in 2012. Decided to take this one as the one that worried me the most based on other CT'ers ratings. Has been kept at 53 degrees since purchase in 2012. What came out of the bottle unexpectedly blew our minds, deserving of a fine dinner involving lobster or other classic Chablis pairings. Unlike some recent tasters, the bottle I have was not tired or uninspired at all. Medium straw colored and as many burgundies do over time, chablis included, this began to favor aged Chassagne-Montrachet. No premox, but ever so slightly honeyed and saline with meyer lemon flesh on the nose over a chalky background. The palate matched with a bit more intensity of the lemon character, medium (+) bodied, rich but steely with again a honeyed sweetness that is cut through by the lemon character. Long, complex finish wraps this up nicely. Out of the thousands of wines I have tried, I cannot ever recall a wine unexpectedly punching this far above its weight, given price point. Easily worth every penny of the 20 dollars I spent on it in 2012 and drinks like a 300 dollar restaurant purchase. An entirely different wine from the same one I had in 2013. Based on others' notes... bottle variation? Stellar bottle here.
