  • (From wine list at Bedruthan Steps Hotel, Cornwall) Consumed with undercooked scallops followed by much better monkfish curry and jasmine rice.

    Difficult to tell this was Chablis at all, much more like a suburban NZ SB served at room heat. A few hints of apricot and lime at first sip then unremarkable for the remainder. At nearly £12 for 250ml, far from cheap for common or garden, too.
