  • Did not know they stopped making this after 2012, until entering this note. Good medium hay color, SO2 takes some time to dissipate, on both nose and palate, even then the nose is reluctant, with just hints of chablis fruit; the palate needs air to come alive, and is on the lean side for a grand cru in this normally pretty fabulous vintage. A lot of steely minerality, missing some sea and tidepool I look for, and normally find in a 2010. I remember drinking one of these a few years ago and being more impressed than this bottle, which is nice, but more austere than I expect from a grand cru wine in a good vintage. Just seems a little underripe. Maybe just needs another decade?

  • Medium light hay in color, light scents of white flowers and some pleasant fruit on the nose; an elegant, somewhat lighter grand cru, lithe and delicate, but not missing interest or complexity, with a subtle hint of sea and saline, and a tiny kick of minerality through the quite lovely finish. Not a wine to put in a lineup with bigger brutes, but one to enjoy quietly on its own.

  • Very nice, yet still quite primary nose with ton of lemon, lemon juice, chalk, and green apple. High acidity on the palate with more lemon, green apple, lime zest, and a slight butter note. Long finish. This is really good and still tastes very young. Could use another 5+ years to fully shine. 94-95+
