  • Cloudy appearance so cork obviously compromised. Pungent aromas of cherries, raspberries, fennel, and nail polish. Pretty much done but shows pleasant hibiscus tartness and red fruit flavors. Academic.

  • Smooth and silky mouthfeel. Not green as in underipe, but definitely herbal. A little earthy as well. Bordeaux comes to mind. Very little fruit left and while the other elements are nice, they do not carry the wine in this case. The nose smells like acetic acid after being open a while. Kind of acidic and still a little tannin left. The color is browning a little upon inspection, but it is a very youthful purple color. For this bottle, its better years are behind it.
