Another good but interesting showing for this wine. It definitely needs some air time to come together. Purple in color. On opening, it is thin and tart sour cherries. With about 30 minutes of air it starts to put on weight and the last glass is the best. Never a huge wine, this is a nice, cool weather Syrah. More red fruit than black. Strong acidity. Very enjoyable though.

Catching up, Lots of Syrah and others from the week; 4/23/2015-4/27/2015 (Around town): Pop and pour, the nose is odd, like sour cherries with balsamic. It only take about 10 minutes and that blows off. The remaining wine is beautiful. The nose has black raspberries, damp earthiness, grilled meats and black pepper. On the palate, there is a firm streak of acidity and firm tannins. Lots of black raspberry fruit. This needed plenty of air as the last glass is the best. Outstanding.

Delicious dark juice with great fruit and classic syrah savoriness.

Pop and pour. Great nose with red raspberry tones on palate. Balanced with soft tannins, alcohol does not stick out at all.
