Dark red color. No orange/brick at all at 10 yrs old. 50/50 cab /merlot Slightly vegetal. Not terribly complex but solid quaffing cru bourgeois. 2 hours in and wine is opening up and rounding out. Dark Red fruits , minerals

No formal notes, but I really loved this. Not showy---just very sophisticated and refined Bordeaux. Good structure, black cherry fruit, gravelly mineral, and some dried flowers. Silky yet firm. Great value. And I think this will continue to age nicely for some time to come. It really didn't come off as all that developed.

drinking even better than last time, with some attractive pyrazines cutting through the merlot and providing some contrast. high quality, classic claret? maybe not. but it's rustic and i love it! fantastic QPR for $20. should provide 5+ more years of pleasure, for sure.

fantastic QPR, hits all the right notes for classy, old-style bdx. like drinking a glass of cassis-soaked gravel. still plenty of room to go - not developing much yet, but seems like it will. update: day 2, despite being sampled with a coravin, the mid-palate was weirdly hollow. maybe this isn't going to go as far as i thought (at least without falling apart)

So very well made - no sharp edges, fruit still singing after 2 hour decant. Not a blockbuster, but darn decent!!
