樱桃、烟丝、皮革、松露和湿地，陈年的香气替代果味成为香气的主调。单宁随着醒酒逐渐增强，使果香更显趋弱，但高酸度的骨架让酒依然保持着优雅、均衡的体态。随着更多陈年香气的涌现，层次变得更加丰富，也更加展现出老酒的魅力。壮年期老派Barolo的典型风格呈现。
