No detailed notes. This was a surprising Kabinett for me - quite a bit richer than I anticipated. Perhaps a bit sweeter than I expected as well. I agree with a previous taster that this approaches Spatlese levels of richness.

Peach and floral notes on the nose. Close to a spatlese level in terms of richness. White raspberry, white cherry and peach up front with light apple and pear in the background and on the finish. Decent acidity, but more sweetness than is typical for a kabinett. Tasted blind, I probably would’ve guessed spatlese. Showing well now, but has the structure to last several more years.

Med+ acidity, med-body, green apple mixed with passion fruit light refreshing
Conc: easy drinking, I'd say one dimensional but refreshing

Granny Smith Apple & Pear taste/smell. Balanced fruit and acidity. Slow legs. Very clear/golden color. Slightly sweet.
