  super lively despite its age. liked this. the blend was interesting, could really feel the pinot noir pop w a whisper of pinot munier in the background.
  
  nice finish and balance. acidity banging. complexity nice. clearly well made. didn't have the extra ooooomph to give it a few extra points. clearly heads and shoulders above a $150 bottle. nice bubbles. wife said reminded her of egly, so that's a big bonus. not for the blanc de blanc group as the acid really cut in a good way.

  (Disgorged in 2001, 55% Pinot Noir, 10% Meunier and 35% Chardonnay)
  Lovely golden yellow colour with endless streams of fine bubbles in the glass, showing mature red apples, minerals and hints of milk chocolate and with a lovely fluffy creaminess embedding it all into a delicious maturing nose. Smoothing apples acidity on the palate combined with minerals and cream and showing a very nice and pleasant saltiness on the lengthy finish. This was drinking extremely well right now showing some maturity combined with a freshness giving the best of both worlds!

  Nez très brioché, noisette grillée, leger noix... Très bel equilibre, leger citron, pomme verte et jaune, reste très frais pour un vin de cet age!!

  1995 Vintage Champagne horizontal (Medlar (London)): Quite pale in the glass based on colour I thought could only be a BdB. Mineral, zesty, very alive and has long to go this was strong performance for tied WOTF with Goisses.

  Gylden gul farge. Utviklet og svært kompleks nese. Gule, oksiderte epler. Lysbrent kaffe og subtile sjokoladetoner. Engelsk appelsinmarmelade og kandisert frukt. Kremete og fyldig i munn. Hvit, søt frukt og en nydelig vibrerende men integrert syre. Subtil kledelig bitterhet, her også ala appelsinmarmelade. Små bobler og meget delikat mousse. Lang finish med både syre og frukt. En veldig flott Champagne.
