  • Friday, November 24, 2000 Bright purple, almost like a nouveau, but with a richer color. The fruit explodes on the nose with blueberry and violets, some slight cedar on the finish. A good finish. Nice price piont/QPR of $9.00. With ribeyes in bourbon sauce (from the Depot). 11/24/00.

Sunday, August 04, 2002 Not as spicy and full bodied. Somewhat duller flavors than I recall of this wine. However, it was in the kitchen and the heat has been unbearable this past week. It may have suffered some damage. With pizza.
Wednesday, July 07, 2004 We all loved this, but for Mark. He thought it smelled a bit too much like, uh, garrigue. (This is written 8-1-04, but we did all enjoy it.)
Saturday, July 17, 2004 ok, but not as good as I last recall. Garrigue, raspberry etc. Not much focus. With sausages and grits.
